Date:

Do you love Alfa Romeo? Then buckle up, because the weekend of September 13-14, 2025 will go down in history! The Rosso Festival, the first edition of an event dedicated to the legendary Italian brand, was an absolutely spectacular success. Organized at the legendary Charade circuit, the festival brought together a community of enthusiasts to celebrate a passion that spans generations. And honestly, what a show!

By bringing together a historic record of 280 Alfa Romeos for an event 100% dedicated to the brand, this festival undeniably made automotive history in France. Just imagine the scene: 280 Alfa Romeos lined up on this legendary Auvergne circuit, with their sensual lines and Rosso Alfa gleaming in the sun. It was simply magical!

Organized by the Alfa Club des Volcans and the Club Alfa Romeo Côte d’Azur, with support from Alfa Romeo France, this event brought together more than 600 guests around their shared passion. Such mobilization testifies to the vitality of a passion that spans generations and the strong bond that unites the Italian brand with its faithful followers. Personally, I find this kind of gathering absolutely essential to keep alive the heritage of such a legendary brand!

First edition of the Rosso Festival at Charade: the crazy bet becomes historic triumph with record attendance
The legendary Charade circuit just hosted the very first edition of the Rosso Festival, an automotive event that immediately found its audience with success exceeding all expectations.

A Diversity of Models to Make You Dream

From the ultra-exclusive Giulia GTAm to historic models that have marked the history of the Biscione, the diversity of vehicles present at the festival impressed all participants. And honestly, it was a true rolling museum of Italian automotive history!

The 40th anniversary of the Alfa Romeo 75 was celebrated with a strong presence of this iconic model. Several racing Alfa Romeos reminded everyone of the brand’s unbreakable ties with motorsports, that sporting DNA that has flowed through the veins of every Alfa for over a century.

Numerous 4Cs, Spiders, Giulias and Giuliettas, representing all generations of the brand, highlighted enthusiasts’ attachment to the different eras of Alfa Romeo history. This diversity of models allowed participants to discover or rediscover the different facets of the brand.

Between you and me, seeing all these generations of Alfa Romeo side by side makes you understand why this brand is so fascinating: each era has brought its share of innovations and mechanical beauties!

A Program That Made Every Alfisti Heart Beat

Between track sessions on the legendary Charade circuit, rallies with roadbooks through the Massif du Sancy, supervised driving courses, simulators and moments of conviviality, each participant was able to experience absolutely unique moments. The event confirmed Alfa Romeo’s central place in the hearts of driving enthusiasts and beautiful machinery lovers.

Europe settles for 3-cylinders while the United States sells 9.4-liter V8s to install in any car

The Rosso Festival thus offered participants a complete experience, mixing pure driving pleasure, discovery of iconic models and sharing passion. Honestly, when you see such a rich program on a legendary circuit like Charade, you understand why enthusiasts came from all over France!

It’s this winning combination that made the event such a wild success and promises great editions to come. Personally, I bet the second edition will attract even more people!

A New Chapter Opens for the Alfisti Community

With this historic participation record for a 100% Alfa Romeo gathering in France, the Rosso Festival already establishes itself as THE essential meeting point for the Alfisti community. Alfa Romeo France wanted to warmly thank all participants, clubs and partners who contributed to this success and looks forward to very soon extending this beautiful story.

Alain Descat, Director of Alfa Romeo France, perfectly summed up the spirit of the event: “The Rosso Festival is the perfect illustration of what makes Alfa Romeo’s strength: a united, passionate community, ready to travel from all over France to experience together the emotion of the brand. Seeing 280 Alfa Romeos gathered at the Charade circuit, surrounded by more than 600 enthusiasts, is a historic moment that will remain etched in memory. This success pushes us to continue writing, with our customers and our clubs, the most beautiful pages of the Alfa Romeo adventure in France.”

And honestly, he’s right! In an automotive world that’s increasingly sanitized and standardized, seeing a brand like Alfa Romeo capable of mobilizing so many enthusiasts for a simple gathering is proof that automotive emotion is far from dead.

Personally, I find this kind of event absolutely vital for the future of automotive passion. Yes, we talk a lot about electrification and energy transition. But these 280 Alfa Romeos gathered at Charade remind us that automobiles are above all a story of passion, community and shared emotions.

The Rosso Festival 2025 will remain a historic moment for the French Alfisti community. And if you missed this first edition, start preparing now for the next one. Because in my opinion, this is only the beginning of a long and beautiful story!
